David Meyer, Founding Attorney of Meyer Wilson, Begins Presidency of Central Ohio Association for Justice
Investment Fraud Attorney David P. Meyer was sworn in as President of the COAJ by Maureen O’Connor, the Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice.
Today, David Meyer was officially sworn in as President of the COAJ. The ceremony for all 2013-2014 officials was conducted by Supreme Court Justice Maureen O'Connor.
Meyer previously served for three years on the board of COAJ. He is taking over for Janica Pierce Tucker.
The mission of the COAJ is to unite Ohio trial lawyers for the same mission, and that mission is justice. The COAJ comprises many different committees, including plaintiff's personal injury, workers' comp, and criminal defense, among others. Attorney David Meyer was vetted for this position and nominated after a strict selection process.
Meyer frequently speaks at COAJ conferences and focuses on topics such as investment fraud and broker misconduct. He is viewed as an authority on these subjects and in his profession. He believes that educating investors and professionals alike can help prevent stockbroker misconduct and investor losses.
"To be selected as leader for this institution in Ohio is an honor," said Meyer. "It holds great legacy of service to others that is humbling and has been a phenomenal personal resource for me as I grew my own firm."
