Ringleader of Alleged Ponzi Scheme Charged with 4,000 Counts of Fraud

Goodman Goqo, 26, was arrested at his Hillcrest home recently. The ringleader of what the State alleges was a financial fraud and Ponzi scheme has been charged with a whopping 4,000 counts of fraud.

Goqo was Director of Ingede Mineral Holdings, a private company that managed investments. However, prosecutors state that the company did not invest the money on the stock market, as allegedly promised.
Clients were said to have been offered returns of 30 percent on their funds over a short duration of time.

They also were reputedly told that their capital was completely guaranteed.

Prosecutors contest that evidence indicates that funds deposited in the bank account of Ingede Mineral Holdings were then transferred to Goqo's personal account, whereupon he allegedly utilized them to fund his lavish personal lifestyle.

Goqo has been remanded to Cato Manor police custody.
