Marnie C. Lambert is an associate attorney with the firm.
Ms. Lambert is a 1992 graduate of the Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California. Her practice in California focused on representation of consumers in disputes with their insurance carriers arising out of unpaid and underpaid property insurance claims. Ms. Lambert also has experience representing consumers in a variety of other areas including complex civil litigation, complex commercial and securities litigation, business torts and class actions.
Prior to joining Meyer & Associates, Ms. Lambert was an associate at a highly reputable plaintiffs' firm where she was second chair trial counsel on a case which resulted in a jury verdict of nearly $6.7 million (the case, Goldsmith v. Lechiara, et al., Case No. 01 CVA 09 8889, involved medical negligence that resulted in the death of a young mother in childbirth). Ms. Lambert also exercised her considerable litigation skills at the Columbus office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour & Pease LLP (where she defended various manufacturers and suppliers in asbestos litigation) and the Ohio Attorney General's Office (where she represented clients such as the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and the Ohio Department of Mental Health).
Ms. Lambert is licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio and the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio. She is also an active member of the California Bar and United States District Court, Central District of California. Ms. Lambert is a member of various local, state and national trial and bar associations, and is an appointed member of the Ohio State Bar Association Litigation Section Council, serving on the Seminar Committee and the Nominating Committee.
Since joining Meyer & Associates, Ms. Lambert has focused on the firm's securities litigation practice. She will also be devoting a significant portion of her time to the firm's expanding consumer class action practice.
